As a senior-level heavy-duty technician, the shop supervisor will lead all other technicians on day-to-day repair jobs. Candidate should have 10+ years of experience in spring and suspension, brakes, steering, alignments, and other chassis repairs and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis and Repair:
    Troubleshooting and repairing complete suspensions, brakes and steering and more in heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Component Replacement:
    Identifying and replacing worn or damaged parts and components.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Providing guidance, technical support, and training to mid-level and newer technicians in all areas.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Ensuring all work is performed according to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Record Keeping:
    Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
  • Leadership:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing Alignment Issues:
    Conducting thorough inspections of steering and suspension systems, axles, and frames on heavy-duty vehicles to identify alignment problems.
  • Performing Alignments:
    Utilizing specialized alignment equipment to adjust and correct vehicle alignment to meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Repairing Steering and Suspension:
    Replacing worn or damaged parts like kingpins, wheel ends, steering boxes, and suspension components as needed.
